Early Education Program
Children learn best from physical involvement with the learning process. In our program, children are encouraged to explore, experiment and make choices that will lead to a series of interrelated discoveries about their world. The teacher guides the child’s learning, providing opportunities for a variety of learning experiences, while the child feels the joy and excitement of participating in his own successes.

The way a child perceives themselves influences their behavior and their ability to learn. Our program concentrates on the child’s self-concept in the school environment. Each child is important, and feels individual worth.

In order to achieve maximum success in education, a child must first understand the concepts of learning. These concepts become his/her tools with which to work. Plumfield Pre-School & Kindergarten places a strong emphasis on promoting the concepts of language, mathematics and science, increasing sensory and perceptual skills, and developing the child’s ability to solve problems.
